PRACTICAL PROJECT
The brief for this project work was to create a digital campaign for various platforms amongst a selection of chosen companies. We were supposed to create a DOOH (digital out of home) ad, an ad for one optional social media platform of our own choice and either an app or a website. The important thing throughout this whole project is to keep a theme throughout the different platforms and tie it all together.
I chose to work with Oatly since their graphic expressions appealed the most to me and made a whole new product; Oatly Matcha. A finished oat-drink with matcha. I made a DOOH-video, a seamless carousel instagram post and an app about this, with a bonus of a video to instagram story! The whole project was based on a brand house made for Oatly where we got to investigate in the company to understand their marketing strategies and so on. And at the end presented everything in a presentation.
My own made graphic profile for this project that had to include all the important elements, combining both Oatlys and my own.
APP:
A walkthrough in the Oatly app I made with a working prototype. The purpose of the app is a general app for their company with funky functions! I designed a few pages including a home page, products page and a recipes section.
DOOH:
A short video promoting the new product in a digital out of home-format out in the cities. The purpose is to market the product and grab potential customers attention within around 3 seconds.
Seamless carousel post:
A seamless carousel for the feed of Oatly's instagram that is posted to stay there, unlike a story that disappears after a while. This felt like a good marketing strategy for Oatly as a brand and fits their social media behaviour. The post is in true Oatly spirit with illustrations and a lot of fun copy!
BONUS: Instagram story + app splash-screen
Some bonus features I made was including a short instagram story, teasing about the new matcha product launch. And a splash-screen for the app that is shown in only a few seconds when you open up the app.
